Department has organized six training programmes and two summer Institutes. More than forty Students from other Universities in the subjects of Biotechnology, Microbiology and Biochemistry have also taken trainings of different durations from time to time.
Department has excellent facilities for studying the detection of cytokines and their confirmation by m-RNA expression. Up and down regulation of cytokines by certain common Indigenous plants has been studied in the Department. Keeping in view the expertise of this Department and to disseminate the practical skill, training programme on “Cytokine Assay” was organized by this Department.
