U. P. Pt. Deendayal Upadhyaya Pashuchikitsa Vigyan Vishwavidyalaya Evam Go-Anusandhan Sansthan, Mathura has only one constituent college i.e. College of Veterinary Science & Animal Husbandry (to be hyperlinked with Faculties & Constituent Units). This is one of the oldest institutions in the country to award the degree of BVSc &AH to its students after successful completion of the prescribed courses. In the year 1994 the college adopted 10 semester (5 years) degree programme as per recommendations of the Veterinary Council of India for minimum standard of veterinary education in the country. The courses taught in undergraduate study are:

Apart from these the students are trained at the College Veterinary Hospital (Teaching Veterinary Clinical Services Complex) in clinical work related to subject of Surgery, Gynaecology and Obstetrics, Clinical medicine and Laboratory diagnostic work.
College of Veterinary Science, Mathura is the first to begin Post-graduate studies in Veterinary Science in the country. At present the college is offering two year duration MVSc degree post graduate course and PhD in the following subjects under traditional system:

The semester pattern of study consisting of course work is to begin soon at post-graduate level.
As envisaged in the act of university, in addition to the college of veterinary science  four other constituent colleges/faculties will be started in near future in phased manner to generate trained and competent human resource.
1- College of Biotechnology
2- College of Livestock Product Technology 
3- College of Fishery Science
4- College of Animal Industry and Business Management.
The building construction and infrastructure development is almost complete for these colleges and in near future after recruiting the minimum required faculty, degree and diploma courses shall begin.
