University Activities
and Facilities:
University Library:
University
has a large central library housed in a three storied building with large
number of books and relevant Indian and foreign journals. The library has also
the modern facilities like photocopy machine and computer with Internet
connections. The library remains open from
Department
of Students Welfare:
The Department of Students Welfare in the
University provides ample scope, opportunities and facilities for all round
development of personality and leadership qualities in students. Besides high
standards of academic performance, special emphasis is laid down on discipline.
Students effectively participate in the management of hostels, mess system,
games and sports, cultural and literary activities and other functions of the
University from time to time.
Hostels:
The University has four well-ventilated
neat and clean boy’s hostels, three for the undergraduate and one for the
post-graduate students. Two girls’ hostels accommodating 80 girl students of
undergraduate and postgraduate programmes having good
facilities are available. Each hostel has been provided with common room
facilities with colour television, newspapers and
magazines. There are also indoor game facilities for Table Tennis, Carom etc.
Cooperative Mess facility along with supply of milk at subsidized rates from
the University owned dairy farm is also provided for the benefit and
convenience of the students. The hostels are managed by Wardens/ Hostel
Superintendents who are generally senior teachers of the University under the
supervision of Dean Students Welfare (DSW).
Sports:
Facilities for indoor and outdoor games
are provided to the students. There is a large play-ground in front of the main
building for the outdoor games like cricket, hockey, foot-ball, volley-ball, kabaddi. kho-kho
etc. and various other athletic events. A large indoor badminton hall is also
available in one of the hostels as round the year facility for indoor game(s).
The University organizes annual sports meet along with the cultural programmes. All the sport events are guided and managed
under the guidance of Staff Counselors. President Games and Sports is the
overall Coordinating Officer In-charge of all such programmes.
Extra-curricular
Activities:
Extra-curricular activities such as
debates, declamation, quiz, essay writing competition and cultural activities
are arranged from time to time under the leadership of a Student Cultural
Secretary and Cultural Counselor.
Educational
Tour:
Students of 4th and 5th Professional B.VSc.
& A.H. arc taken on educational and professional tours to different parts
of India to acquaint themselves with other educational institutions and
industry keeping in view of their professional requirements and to improve
their competency, technical acumen and scope.
ARIS Cell:
Fifteen Computers with internet
connectivity in the ARIS Cell in addition to the internal connectivity in LAN
System to the entire departments is available in the university.
Cafeteria/Canteen:
A Cafeteria/Canteen is also there in the
University premises to cater to the needs and demands of students and staff of
the University.
Bank, Post
Office and PCO:
A branch of Indian Overseas Bank with ATM
facility, Sub-Post Office and PCO facilities are also available in the
University Campus.
Cooperative
Facilities:
Consumer Cooperative Society services are
provided to the students by making them available routine daily use items
including stationery, laboratory manuals etc. Facility of utensils to the mess
on nominal charges is also being provided by this cooperative facility.
N.S.S. and
N.C.C.:
N.S.S. and N.C.C. are mandatory for each
and every student and these have been included in regular course-curriculum of B.V.Sc. & A.H. Programme. The
students also compulsorily join R & V Sqn. N.C.C
where, in addition to other activities of NCC, they learn horse riding and
participate in Republic day parade and equestrian competition. The NCC cadets
of R. & V. Sqn. have brought many laurels for the
Institute.
Scholarships and Stipends:
University
Merit Scholarship:
B.V.Sc.
& A.H.: Three students of each B.V.Sc. &
A.H. Professional are awarded University merit scholarship on the basis of
their academic merit in their respective classes. Tuition fee of such students
is also waived off.
M.V.Sc.: One scholarship of Rs. 1000/- P.M. is
awarded to one student of each Post-Graduate Department on the basis of their
merit.
Stipend of
the Social Welfare Department of Govt. of U.P.:
All the B.V.Sc.
& A.H. and M.V.Sc. students of OBC/SC/ST etc.
category receive a monthly stipend as per rules of Govt. of UP.
Award of
Medals:
The Ist, IInd and IIIrd position holders of B.V.Sc.
& A.H. and M.V.Sc. programmes
receive University gold, silver and bronze medals, respectively at the time of
University convocation.

IMPORTANT
INSTRUCTIONS:
1.
Candidates
are advised to read the instructions given in the PROSPECTUS very carefully.
The application form must be completed in all respects. Incomplete/unsigned/mutilated
application form without photograph/with unclear photograph will be out-rightly
rejected
and the fee deposited will not be refunded.
2.
Original
documents or their Photostat copies should not be enclosed along with
application form. Original certificates will have to be produced at the time of
counseling.
3.
Concealing
of any information will be treated as misconduct and action will be taken as
per the Rules of the University. Admission of such candidate(s) would be
cancelled.
4.
All
admissions shall be made provisionally and the University reserves the right to
cancel any admission granted to a candidate without assigning any reason
thereof.
5.
Application
form should be filled-up very neatly and clearly by the candidate
himself/herself in their own handwriting. Over writing/cutting on the
application form shall not be allowed.
6.
The
applicant should fully ensure before dispatching the application whether he/she
fulfills the eligibility requirement for admission/appearing in the Entrance
Examination as the fees once paid shall not be refunded in the event of
rejection.
7.
Applicant is advised to clearly mention his/her complete permanent
as well as mailing address neatly in the columns provided in the application
form, acknowledgement card and envelops.
8.
The
decision of the Admission Committee in all matters related to Entrance
Examination/Admission shall be final.
9.
Using
any unfair means during Entrance Examination (PVT) will be treated as per the
University Rules. The Admission Committee shall cancel result of such candidates.
10.
Candidate
seeking reservation should clearly mention their category/sub-category in
column provided in the application form and answer sheets.
11.
In
the PVT examination, the candidate will use only Ball Pen (BLACK) for filling up circles on answer sheet
(OMR).
12.
After
the examination is over, the candidate will be responsible to hand over his/her
answer sheet to the Invigilator, otherwise his/her
candidature shall be rejected.
13.
The
rough work should be done only on the question paper. For this purpose, neither
he/she will be given any separate paper nor he/she will use
any of his/her own paper. Only admission card will be allowed in the
examination hall.
14.
Students
should affix his/her recent Colored Passport Size photograph (3.5 x 4.5
cm) in full front pose without any cap and/or sunglasses in the application
form at the specified place.
15.
The
candidate should get the application form and recent Colored photograph
attested from the Principal of the last college attended or a competent
authority.
16.
Scrutiny/re-evaluation
of answer sheet of the entrance examination is not allowed.
17.
Admission
card will be sent by registered post. In case, admission card is not received
before examination, duplicate admission card can be had from the centre one day
earlier from the Centre Superintendent (Internal) by depositing two Colored
photographs and Rs.20/- only.
18.
A
candidate who has been punished at any time in his/her earlier academic career
for having taken part in act of indiscipline or use of unfair means during
examination will be refused admission. In case, he/she secures admission by
concealing facts or by any mistake of office, the admission will be cancelled
as and when the facts are detected/brought to the
notice of University.
19.
The records of Entrance Examination shall
be preserved only for a period of one year by the University.
20.
Candidates
are advised, in their own interest, to send their application form under
registered cover or deliver personally in the office of Controller of
Examinations.
21.
Last
date of submitting completed Application Form for admission to both B.V.Sc. & A.H. (PVT) and PG Courses (PGET) is April 28,
2010 up to 5.00 P.M. Applications received after last date as mentioned above
will not be entertained and no claim what-so-ever can be made for such applications.
22.
The
University will not be responsible for any postal/any unforeseen delay/loss in
transit in respect of submission of duly filled application forms, non-receipt
of admit card etc.
23.
Application
forms of those candidates who do not fulfill the eligibility criteria will be
rejected.
24.
The
centre indicated for the Entrance Examination by a candidate is only his/her
option. Actual
centre shall be allotted by the University and it shall be final. No
correspondence in this regards shall be entertained.
25.
Admission of the candidate to the Entrance Examination is provisional
subject to their being found otherwise eligible for admission to the course
concerned.
26.
A
candidate is required to submit only one application form. If a candidate
submitted more than one application form, his/her candidature is liable to be
cancelled.
27.
Application
form must be sent in original and duly completed in all respect.
Photostat/Xerox copies/Fax copies of application forms will be rejected.
28.
Mobile/Cell
phones/Pager or any other communication devices are not allowed inside the premises
where examination is being conducted.
29.
The
University reserves the right to cancel/change test centers/test dates.

*Note: The seats left vacant in different discipline of M.V.Sc./Ph.D. programs where there
is no waiting list may be shifted to other disciplines. The shifting of seats
in different disciplines will be decided by a committee consisting of Dean PGS
(Chairman,) Dean COVS, Registrar and Controller of Examination. The vacant seats
will be shifted only to those disciplines where no candidate has been admitted against reserved categories. The committee
after assessing the availability of required facilities will shift not more
than one seat to a particular discipline. The recommendation of the committee
shall be put up before the Vice-chancellor for consideration /approval.
Notes:
1. The Academic Council is the supreme academic authority to frame
rules and regulations,
increase/decrease the admission
capacity and to decide all other matters relating to admission
and academic affairs.
2. All the programs of the University are full time programs. A
student, therefore, cannot
take admission in more than one
program simultaneously.
3. The admission to all programs of the University shall be made by
the Registrar, who reserves
the right to cancel the admission
obtained by misrepresentation / concealment of facts or
admission made due to
error/oversight, etc.
4.
The medium of Instruction/Teaching/Evaluation will be English only.
B. Entrance examination for b.V.sc. & A.H. programme (P.V.T.):
1. Eligibility / Qualifications-
No candidate shall be admitted to B.V.Sc.
& A.H. degree Course unless:
a) He/she has completed the age of 17 years on or before
b)
He/ she has passed:
I.
the qualifying
examination with the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English
as core course or an examination equivalent to intermediate Science examination
of an Indian University/Board recognized by the Association of Indian
Universities taking Physics, Chemistry and Biology including a practical test
in each of these subjects and English.
OR
II.
Higher Secondary
Examination or the Indian School Certificate Examination equivalent to 10+2.
Higher Secondary Examination (after a period of 12 years of study), the last
two years of study with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and any other elective
subject with English at a level not less than the core course for English as
prescribed by the National Council for Education, Research and Training after
the introduction of 10+2+3 (years) education structure as recommended by the
National Committee on Education.
NOTE :
Where the Course is not as prescribed for 10+2 education structure of the
National Committee, the candidates are required to have undergone a period of
one year pre-professional training before seeking admission to the

The
Intermediate/Pre-degree examination in science from a recognized
University/Board with Physics, Chemistry and Biology, which shall include a
Practical test in these subjects.
OR
IV.
The
pre-professional/pre-medical examination with Physics, Chemistry and Biology,
after passing either the higher secondary school examination or the
pre-university or an equivalent examination. The pre-professional examination
shall include a practical test in these subjects.
OR
V.
B.Sc.
examination from a recognized University. Provided that he/she has passed
earlier qualifying examination with the following subjects viz. Physics,
Chemistry, Biology and English.
OR
VI.
Any other
examination which in scope and standard is found to be equivalent to the
intermediate science examination of Indian University/Board recognized by the
Association of Indian Universities, taking Physics, Chemistry and Biology
including a practical test in each of these subjects and English.
c) He/she has
appeared in the Pre Veterinary Test (PVT) conducted by the University and
declared eligible based on the test results. The NRI candidates are not required to appear in PVT, however, they
must have secured minimum 50% marks in Intermediate or equivalent examination.
However the NRI sponsored candidates will have to appear in PVT Examination and
secure 50% marks.
d) He/she shall produce his/her mark sheet/certificate
of Intermediate Examination at the time of counseling.
e) He/she must be domicile of Uttar Pradesh.
(Not in case of NRI/NRI sponsored candidate)
f)
A candidate
under General Category for admission to the B.V.Sc.
& A.H. degree course must have passed in each of the subjects of English,
Physics, Chemistry and Biology, and obtained 50% marks in aggregate of these
subjects, at the qualifying examination.
g) In respect of candidates belonging to the Scheduled
Castes/ the Scheduled Tribes or other special category of students as specified
by the Government from time to time, marks required for admission shall be 10%
less than that prescribed for general category. Where the seats reserved for
the Scheduled Caste and the Scheduled Tribes students cannot be filled for want
of requisite number of candidates the Uttar Pradesh State Govt. rules and
regulations shall apply.
h) Admission of students to B.V.Sc.
& A.H. degree course shall be made only on the basis of his/her merit in
the competitive entrance examination. No other merit/ weightage
shall be considered for admission to B.V.Sc. &
A.H. degree course.
i)
The students
educated abroad seeking admission into veterinary colleges in
j)
Sponsored
candidates shall have to qualify the admission procedures as laid down for the
students under General category.
NOTE: 1. Candidates
appearing in Intermediate Examination of 2010 are also eligible to appear
in Pre Veterinary
Test (PVT), however, their admission will also be governed by
the above cited
rules.
2. The candidate shall bring this prospectus
along with other original certificate
at the time of
counseling.
3. The NRI sponsored candidates are not
required to be a domicile of Uttar Pradesh.
2. Application:
Applications for admission are invited by Advertisement in
leading Hindi Daily newspapers. Aspirants for admission have to apply on the
prescribed Application forms which can be obtained from the Office of Registrar on a cash payment
of Rs. 1000/- (from 08-03-2010 to 28-04-2010)
in person or by sending Bank Draft for Rs. 1050/- in the name of Finance
Officer, Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Pashu Chikitsa Vigyan Vishwavidyalaya Evam Go-Anusandhan Sansthan, Mathura -281001 (U.P.) payable at Indian Overseas
Bank, Veterinary College, Mathura (Code No. 1475) or any branch of Nationalized
Bank at Mathura.

The university shall not be responsible for non-receipt or late
receipt of the application form due to any reason including loss or delay in
postal transit.
All admissions to B.V.Sc. & A.H. programme shall be made strictly on the basis of merit of
Entrance Examination (PVT) result cum reservation as per the State/University
rules. In the event of concealing any information or providing wrong
information, admission will be cancelled. All admissions shall be provisional
in the first instance and the University reserves the right to cancel admission
granted to a candidate without assigning any reason. No person shall be
entitled to claim any compensation or concession, if the admission granted is
subsequently cancelled.
3. Age Limit:

The minimum qualifying marks for
admission to B.V.Sc. & A.H. programme
shall be
50 per cent for general and OBC categories and 40 per cent marks for SC/ST
category candidates in PVT Entrance Examination. This is applicable to all
sub-categories except VCI quota.
PVT 2010 for
selection of eligible candidates for BVSc & AH programme for College of Veterinary Science & AH,
DUVASU,

Preliminary Examination will be conducted in six centers
as mentioned at point No.6

Those
candidates, who qualify in the Preliminary Examination will have to appear in
the Main
Examination to be conducted at

Admission card for Preliminary Examination will be sent to all
the eligible applicants by registered post by

candidates who qualify in the Preliminary Examination.
6. Examination Centres
for PVT:
Note: The university reserves the right to cancel any centre if
adequate number of candidates are not present or without assigning any cause
thereof.
7. VCI Seats:
Of the sanctioned 60 seats, 15% (9) seats are
reserved for the nominated students sent by Veterinary Council of India.
8. Payment Seats:
a) Payment
details for
25% of the remaining 51 seats (13 seats) will be filled on
payment basis. Candidates seeking
admission in the category of payment
seats shall have to appear in the PVT Entrance
Examination and qualify the same as
per University rules. Such candidates
would be selected amongst the merit
list of the Entrance Examination. Reservation policy
of the Govt. of U.P. will be
applicable for payment seats as well. Payment seats lying
vacant, if any, from the reservation
quota will be filled from the general category.
Selected candidates shall have to
pay Rs. 2.00 lacs in addition to the other fees
applicable
at the time of admission in 1st
Professional of B.V.Sc. & A.H. only. For
subsequent
professionals (II to V) including
repeat years in all professionals (from Ist
to Vth). Such
students shall have to pay
Rs.40.000/- per professional including repeat years in addition to
the other fees/dues applicable.

9. Admission of NRls/NRI-sponsored
candidates:
Over and above the sanctioned 60 seats at
(i) The sponsoring NRl or NRI
candidate must be resident abroad for not less than 10 years.
(ii) 50% marks in PVT is compulsory for NRI sponsored
candidate.
10. Admission of
Girls under payment category:
Over and above the sanctioned 60 seats, 15% i.e. 9
seats are available in this category. The seats will be filled by payment
category as given in clause-8.
11. Admission of University employee’s wards
category:
Over and above the sanctioned 60 seats 5% i.e. 3
seats are available in this category. The seats
will be filled in the payment category as given in clause-8. 50% concession for
class III and IV
employees of this University is allowed in the payment fee i.e. Rs.1,00,000.00 (Rs. One Lac)
at the time of admission and Rs.20,000.00 for
subsequent professional years in addition to normal fees. Only
spouse/children of regular employees of Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Pashu-Chikitsa Vigya Vishwavidyalaya evam Go-Anusandhan Sansthan,
12. Reservations:

Reservation to the
following sub-categories is available as given below:
(a) Children of U.P Freedom Fighters - One seat
(b) Children of Defense Persons (Armed Forces) - One Seat
(c) Physically Handicapped* - One Seat
The candidates claiming for any of the above reservation
benefits shall have to submit the concerned/related certificate issued only by
the competent authority at the time of counseling.
*Note:- In Physically handicapped sub category, a
candidate shall not be allowed admission
to
B.V.Sc. & A.H. degree course including those
admitted under 15% reserved quota of Veterinary
Council of India if he/she suffers disability in physical fitness as listed
below :
(a) Disability of total
body including disability of chest/spine more than 50%
(b) Disability of lower
limb of more than 50%
(c) Disability of Upper
limb
(d) Visually handicapped
candidates and those with hearing disability.
(e) Candidates with
progressive disease like myopathies etc.
(f) Disability which
otherwise would interfere in the performance of the duties of a veterinarian.
The disability will be
certified by a medical board constituted by Registrar of the University in
consultation with Chief Medical Officer of Mathura District, comprising of at
least three specialists out of which two should be of specialty concerned and
the candidate has to present him/herself before the medical board. The fee of
the medical board will have to be borne by the candidate.
13. Question Paper
(Question booklet):
1. The Question Booklets contain 50 questions in each
section A, B, C & D (Total question 200)
2. The OMR Answer sheet/Response sheet is inserted in
each Booklet.
3. The Booklet is stapled / bound and sealed on three open
sides with paper seals.
4. Serial number of question Booklet & OMR Sheet is
same and to be checked by each candidate before start of answering on OMR
sheet.
5. Question Booklets are in four sets i.e. A, B, C &
D
6. In case of any doubt, discrepancy, misprinting,
missing pages etc., the candidate must bring it to the notice of the
Invigilators within the first 5 minutes and get question booklet replaced with the
booklet of the same set (A, B, C or D) before writing the answer.
7. The rough work should be done only on the question
booklets. Extra blank page is provided in question booklets for this purpose. Neither
he/she will be given any separate paper nor will he/she
use any of his/her own paper.
8. Answers are to be given on a separate OMR sheet
supplied and
9. NO ADDITIONAL OMR SHEET SHALL BE PROVIDED. Candidates
are advised to handle it carefully.
10. There shall
be negative marking and one mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer.
More than one answer indicated / marked against a question will be deemed as
incorrect answer and will be negatively marked.
11. Use only BLACK
BALL POINT PEN for writing and filling the circle(s) on the OMR answer
sheet.
12. Please read the instructions in full before
attempting the questions.
The questions shall be framed from all the subjects
and the weightage given to each subject will
be as follows:
Physics : 50
Botany : 50
Chemistry : 50 Zoology : 50
Syllabus:
The syllabus for the P.V.T. will be as that of Intermediate of
U.P. Board/Equivalent.
14. Answer Sheet:
The answer sheet (OMR) will be provided with the Test
Booklet. The specimen copy of the answer sheet, which will be provided with the
Test-Booklet is given at Annexure-1 (all particulars
are given at side No. 1 and side No. 2 of the Answer sheet). Candidates are
advised to go through it and be fully conversant with the requirement of given
particulars and marking the answers so that in the examination hall they could
do so without any difficulty.
Note: No query regarding filling up of the
test-booklets and answer sheets will be
entertained in the Examination
Hall.
The answer sheet used will be of special type, which
will be scanned on Optical Scanner. There will be two sides of the Answer
Sheet.
Each answer column corresponds to the serial number
of questions given in the Test Booklet. With each column, there are four
circles bearing numbers 1, 2, 3 and 4, which correspond to the four responses,
one of which is correct or most appropriate.
Writing of
Answers or Responses:
There will be four alternative answers for each of
the question numbering from 01 to 200. The candidate will indicate his/her
response to the question by completely darkening the appropriate circle with
BLACK BALL PEN. For example question No.55 in the Test Booklet reads as
below:

The correct response to this question is (2) i.e.

If the candidate does not
want to attempt any question, he/she should not mark (darken) any of the
circles given against that question.
The candidate must
ensure that the answer sheet is not folded. He/she should not make any stray
marks on it as it may discredit him/her during optical scanning for which the
candidate would be responsible.
NO CHANGE IN
THE ANSWER ON THE OMR IS POSSIBLE ONCE MARKED BY BALL PEN
Example for filling of
the OMR Answer Sheet:
The detailed instructions for filling of OMR sheet are
explained with example at side No.1 of the answer sheet (Annexure I),
which should be read very carefully and thoroughly.
Wrong/Incorrect way of
marking: If more than one circle is
darkened or if the response is marked in the manner other than the required, it
shall be treated as wrong way of marking the answer. A lightly, faintly or
partly darkened or otherwise marked circle will be treated as wrong method of
marking which will be rejected by the Optical Scanner.
15. Procedure to be followed in the Examination Hall:
1. Only admission card, pen and card board are allowed in the
examination hall.
2. Handbags, Mobile/Cell phone, pagers, pen drives, calculators,
cameras, tape recorders, pen
scanners or any other communication
or copying devices are not allowed inside the Examination
Hall/Room.
3. No
candidate shall be allowed to enter the examination hall after the 15 minutes
of commencement of the Examination i.e. after

answering the questions, candidates should write their correct Roll Number both
in
figure and words on the Question Booklets and Roll Number, Category,
Sub-category and Code of question booklets and mark
proper circles on front side of OMR sheet and on second side
put their Name and Signature.
5. Copying down questions by candidates on
admit cards or other material will disqualify them
from continuing to sit in the
examination.
6. No candidate shall be allowed to leave the examination hall/room
before completion of the
examination time. A candidate may be
permitted to leave the hall/room only once for the
purpose
of toilet use after 75 minutes of
the commencement of the examination escort.
7. Before leaving the examination hall/room candidates must hand over
the question booklet
and the answer
sheet to the invigilator.
8. Smoking and use of other intoxicants are strictly prohibited in
the examination hall/room.
9. Be careful in marking the answers on OMR sheet because there
is no option to change the answer once marked.
16. Method of Selection: The admission shall be made strictly in order of
merit cum reservation based on the aggregate marks obtained by the candidate in
main Entrance Examination.
In case of candidates having obtained equal marks in
the entrance examination, their inter-se ranking shall be determined on the
basis of the following:
1. The aggregate percent of marks obtained by the
candidates at the qualifying examination i.e. 10+2,
2. The aggregate of the percent marks obtained in
science subjects (physics, chemistry, biology),
3. In case of the candidate, who has obtained equal
marks in the aggregate at the qualifying examinations as well as in science
subjects, and even other examinations up to high school examinations, the date
of birth shall be the basis i.e. the candidate senior in age would rank higher
for selection.
C. Entrance
examination for Post graduation course (P.G.E.T.):
(a) Applications for M.V.Sc.
and Ph.D programmes are
invited on All India basis. The applications of employed candidates must route
through their employer, failing which the same will not be entertained.
(b) Eligibility for Master’s Programme
is a bachelor’s degree in the respective/related subjects and 6.00/10 or
equivalent OGPA/equivalent percentage of marks for general category candidates
and 5.50/10 or equivalent OGPA/equivalent percentage of marks for SC/ST/PH
category candidates at Bachelor’s degree level. Eligibility for Doctoral Programme is a master’s degree in respective/related
subjects and OGPA of 6.5/10 or equivalent OGPA/ equivalent percentage of marks
for general category candidates and 6.00/10 or equivalent OGPA/equivalent
percentage of marks for SC/ST/PH category as per guidelines of ICAR.
(c) Admission to Post-graduate programmes
(M.V.Sc. & Ph.D.) shall be made strictly on the
basis of their merit in PG Entrance Test. The PG Entrance Test will be held on

/ M.V.Sc. on or before the counseling date and production of documentary evidence to this effect is essential.
The call letters for counseling shall be sent after the test to successful
candidates only.
(e) Mere application by a candidate does not amount to
admission in the PG course programme.
(f) The candidates must not have
supplementary/compartmental in the subject in which he is seeking the
admission.
(g) The reservation policy of U.P. Govt. will be followed
on the total pooled seats of all the subjects of M.V.Sc.
(h) There is no age limit for the candidates seeking
admission to MVSc and PhD Programmes.
Allocation of discipline to M.V.Sc.
candidates:
The allocation of the subject/discipline to a
candidate shall be made at the time of counseling according to the merit
obtained in the entrance test.
D. DETAILS REGARDING Medical Examination:
The admission shall be subject to medical fitness
certificate from the Medical Officer duly
appointed or engaged by the University.
E. PAYMENT OF FEES AND OTHER DUES:
The candidates once allotted a seat in any programme
of the University shall be required to deposit the fees on the date of
admission. The selection of a candidate, who does not deposit the fee after
allocation of the subject/discipline, shall stand cancelled automatically.
F. DETAILS REGAR4DING QUESTION PAPER:
(a)
PGET 2010 for admission in MVSc Programme
1.
Duration of question paper shall be of two hours (120 minutes).
2.
There will be 200 multiple choice questions with four options for answer
of each.
3.
The maximum marks for question paper shall be 200.
4.
The language of question paper shall be English only.
(b) PGET 2010 for admission in
PhD Programme
1.
Duration of question paper shall be of one hour (60 minutes).
2.
There will be 100 multiple choice questions with four options for answer
of each.
